The Difference Between STE and RTE Folding Cartons
Straight tuck end (STE) cartons have both the top dust flaps and bottom dust flaps tucking in the same direction — toward the back panel. Reverse tuck end (RTE) cartons have the top tucking to the back and the bottom tucking to the front, which works better on high-speed auto-packing lines where the product is inserted from the top and the bottom must lock consistently.
